Pricing - How It Works

There is a one-off setup fee of £35 + VAT to create and configure your club’s Text Message Alert Service account.

You can then choose the pricing option that best suits how your club prefers to manage costs:

Option 1: Pre Pay

  • £60 + VAT per annum service access fee
  • Purchase SMS credits in minimum blocks of 2,000
  • 3.9p + VAT per SMS credit
  • Payment by bank transfer

This option is ideal if your club prefers to pay upfront and manage message usage with pre purchased credits.

Option 2: Post Pay

  • £5 + VAT per month service rental
  • SMS credits used in the previous month billed at 3.9p + VAT per SMS credit
  • Payment collected by Direct Debit

This option is perfect if you would rather spread costs and only pay for what you use each month.

Typical Usage Guide

As a guide, a club with around 100 members subscribed to receive text alerts would typically use in the region of 20,000 SMS credits over a full year, depending on how frequently messages are sent.

Covering the Cost

Many clubs choose to charge supporters a small seasonal fee (for example £8 per season), include the service within membership, or offer it as an optional add on. This can easily offset the cost while providing a valuable communication channel.
