You can choose from a local 01 or 02 number or an 0330 non geographic number whichever suits your business model best.
You don’t have to have a desk phone as you can make and receive calls using the smartphone app, a laptop, a pc or a tablet.
Many of our customers still prefer to have a physical phone though and we recommend the Yealink T43U as it will do all that you need, is easy to use with HD audio quality. The T43U can be purchased for £93.60 + VAT. (there are four handset options to choose from)
The included softphone options are by Webex. There is a version that can be downloaded on to your PC, Laptop or Mac which you would then use in conjunction with a headset.
The Webex smartphone application can be downloaded on to Android and iPhone mobile devices. This gives you the ability to make and receive calls anywhere with immediate access to your company directory. Moreover when used in conjunction with a wired or Bluetooth headset it can replace the need for having a desk phone.
Placing your order:
The contract term will be a minimum of 90 days with 30 days notice thereafter if you opt to use a softphone or purchase a desk phone outright.
There is a setup fee of £70.00 which we ask that you pay in advance by bank transfer. Monthly rentals will need to be paid by direct debit.
Installation Process:
Prior to handing over we will configure your Solo service to meet your requirements. We then email you an Activation Notice containing your login credentials for the management portal.
If you have ordered a desk phone this will arrive within approximately 3-5 working days and will be ready to use straight out of the box. Ideally your phone will be situated within 2 meters of your router so that the phone can be connected to the router by the Ethernet cable that is included.
If this is not the case we would recommend that you opt for the Yealink W73P portable phone so that the base station can be plugged into your router and the phone can sit in its cradle on your desk.
Desk phone users will also need a power socket close to their work station too.
If you are using the Webex softphone we will provide you with instructions on how to download on to your chosen devices and make ourselves available to support you through this process.
Bottom line is this a self install solution, but it is very easy and you will be up and running within 10-15 mins. We will be on hand to assist throughout.
